Dermatologist
Dr. Sam Pruden is a Kentucky native and Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his year of surgery internship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, before completing four years of residency training in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Kentucky. After graduation, Dr. Pruden became board certified in Otolaryngology/ Head & Neck Surgery, as well as Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
With time, Dr. Pruden took a particular interest in skin cancer, which ultimately led him to spend three years at St. Louis University completing a second residency in Dermatology. This was followed by an additional year of Dermatopathology fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. Since graduation from these programs, Dr. Pruden went on to become board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
As a result of his years of advanced training, Dr. Pruden offers insight that would otherwise only be available by a team of specialists.
When away from work, Dr. Pruden enjoys spending time with his family.
